Alexis, little Alexis, just turned 16. I can't believe it!!! She is my cousin, her mom (my Aunt Mary) and I graduated high school together, so this means that I'm actually old enough to have a 16 year old child.....my where did the time go? The picture above is one of my favorites of the two of us. I don't remember for sure, but Lexi was around 2 or 2 1/2 in this picture and I would have been 20 or 21. We all lived together, and this was about the time that she killed all my fish, because they "wanted Dr. Pepper". Hahaha, lots of good memories.
We went to the Dallas Arboretum to take her Sweet 16 pictures. It was so hot, it felt like it was 120 degrees outside, and I was a sweaty mess. Alexis however continued to look great no matter how hot it got. (It was really only 101, but at that temp, who is really counting anymore? It was hot!) The first picture is my favorite of the day. I love how it looks very natural, with the flowers and the lake in the background, oh and Alexis looks great too.

What a gorgeous girl! You must be so proud of her-they grow up so quickly.

Thank you. I think she is beautiful, but I'm a little bias :) I am very proud of her!
