As I said in one of my last posts, I decided to make all my christmas cards this year. The problem is that I don't like making the same card over and over again. My solution is to make only 10 to 15 of each design of a card, it keeps it interesting. (And yes, I have a really huge family, so by the end, I will have made a little more than 50 cards). This card was also inspired by my new Create A Critter 2 cricut cartridge. I had the "we wish you a merry christmas" ribbon in my stash, so I though it would make a cute title for the cards. I cut each peice of ribbon at 6 in to cover the length of the card. (The cards are cut at 8 x 6, and once folded in half, create a 4 x 6 card.) I cut all three images using Create A Critter 2, and gluded them together. Next I cut the red ribbon, to "hang" each image from the top of the card. Last, I attached everything to the card, and topped the little star off with a rhinestone. I think it turned out really cute!!! I don't like to waste, so I made 3 additional cards like the one pictured above. The striped paper came from my scraps stash. The Happy Holidays ribbon was a nice touch to finsh them off.
