After five years, I got Dallas to take a picture with Santa. He walks up to Santa and says "Santa, am I on the Naughty List?" Only my child would ask that, the first time he meets Santa.....though, I have to say that Santa must get asked that a lot, he just answered "no, but you better be extra good, just in case."
I am very proud of myself, with this page. I used the Cricut Craft Room to make the title and the santa face. It took some time, but I was able to layer the christmas trees and the letters in craft room, to make the shadow, then I cut the layer peices in different colors. To make the title stand out a little bit, I attached it using foam tape. For the santa face, I cut all the peices out then realized that I didn't have the face peice, so I used the cut out part of the beard, and used chalk so it would look like skin. I then, used my cuttlebug to give the beard some texture. Then I put santa together, and thought, it needed something else, so I used a liquid glue to attach cotton balls to the hat. I really love how he turned out, very cute. Next, I inked all the edges using my basic black stampin up ink, and printed my journaling on a peice of white cardstock.

We went to the Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine to take our Santa picture. We got there right as they opened and picked up our Bass Pass, which you have to have in order to get a meeting with Santa. It's a good thing we got there so early, because when we left at 10:30, they were already giving out passes for 1:00 that afternoon, it was a busy, busy place. I included, on the side, a few pictures of our morning at Bass Pro. It was a good trip, even though both Dallas and I were recovering from a stomach bug from yesterday :(. We are doing better now.
