I am trying to do better updating my blog, so I wanted to share this great Fourth of July scrapbook page with you. This is actually from July 4, 2014, but I am just now getting around to finishing it and getting it posted. I know, I know, I'm a little behind, but hey we all are, right?
I really wanted to use my Lawn Fawn, Wish you were here stamp and die set, but it just wasn't enough. So, I cut out the starts, the firework and the eagle using my cricut (Independence Day and Artbooking cartridges). Then I used my Cricut Explore and the font "Stars From Our Eyes" to cut out the title. I found the font on DaFont.com. I really love that site, now that I have an explore. I really love how this page turned out and I feel that the black and white picture of my son and I really pops off the page. Materials Used: Paper: DCWV The Nantucket Stack & Recollections Cardstock Cricut: Independence Day & CTMH Artbooking Lawn Fawn: Wish You Were Here stamp and die set Font: Stars From Our Eyes Spectrum Noir: TB9 & DR6 Other: Paper Flowers by Fabric Fancies, Heidi Swap Stars, Rhinestones, Washi Tap by Recollections, Foam Tape, & Wink of Stella glitter pen.
