Mr. and Mrs. Dennis

I am not a professional photographer, but when your baby cousin asks you to shoot her wedding, it is really hard to not say yes. I was nervous that I would miss something and tried to plan things out so that I would do a good job for her and her new husband, Sean. I love them both so much and wanted to make sure that they had at least a few great pictures from them special day. These are some of my favorites and hope that they love them as much as I do.

On another note, they got married on Dec. 11, which is the day before what would have been my grandparents (Granny & Papaw Jack) 62nd wedding anniversary. I like to believe that by doing this, Mollie and Sean are destined to have a long and happy marriage.

Fun with Jackson (and his mom and sister)

My cheerleading assistant coach, Alicia has the cutest kids. I adore them, and even though I shouldn't have a favorite, I do. There is something about Jackson that makes my heart happy. I just love his little smile and he has the best personality. It might be because he reminds me of when Dallas was little.

I think sometimes people come into your life, right when you need them. I feel that Alicia and I have been friends for a very long time, but in reality I have only known her and her little family for about 4 months. I feel that she "gets" me and I am so grateful to know her. I cant wait to watch Jack Jack and Millie grow up.

A couple of weeks ago, we went and took a few quick pictures and I just love how these turned out. Enjoy the cuteness!!!

Dallas at 11

While we were at Prairie Creek Park a few days ago, I took the opportunity to snap a few pictures of Dallas. I have take pictures of him each year of his life and I needed to capture age 11. He wasn't thrilled about doing it, but he put on a smile and did what I asked. Afterword, he asked if he could take some pictures, saying that he thought he knew a few good places to take pretty pictures. I handed over my camera and allowed him to walk around for a bit and take the pictures he wanted. I was quite impressed with his pictures and his viewpoint. He has now asked for a camera, guess I will have to buy him one.

These are the best of pictures that Dallas took. No edits and no filters.

Heather & Mike - Engagement

I am always really honored when people ask me to take pictures of them. It's not something that I would typically charge money for, it's more of a hobby, but I love that family and friends trust me with their special moments. These pictures are of my cousin's daughter and her soon to be husband. They will be getting married in October and asked me to take engagement photos of the two of them. We went to Prairie Creek Park in Richardson, which has become my new favorite place to shoot. There are so many lovely options at the park, and I feel like it is hard to take bad pictures there. I had trouble narrowing down these pictures to just my few favorites. Congratulations to Heather and Mike, I can not wait to celebrate your big day with you. Hope you love these as much as I do.
