Dancing had always been a big part of my life. I have been dancing for 24 years, 2/3 of my existence. As I get older, dancing has become a challenge. Time to dedicate to the sport, my flexibility, and the drive that I one had, has all faded. Don’t get me wrong, I still love to dance, and I love to watch dance, I have just come to the conclusion that I can’t be as actively involved in dance that I one was.
This scrapbook page is my memorial to my time as a dancer. The pictures were taken the last time I danced on stage. The Blue Belle Alumni performed at the 2011 spring show. We had a great time, leaping, kicking, and dancing.

Macie is the beautiful little girl of my cousin Beau and his wife Tracy. While at our grandmothers house, Easter (2012), I had the chance to snap a few shots of Macie playing in the flowers. Just shows that all great picture that wasn't planned. I knew I wanted to create a scrapbook page to highlight the picture, without taking away from it. The rhinestone and paper flowers and the soft pink

Sometimes just taking a great picture is not enough, I wanted to create a scrapbook page that would showcase at least one of the pictures. I used a 4 x 6 picture of my cousan Alexis, matted it on a peice of cream colored cardstock. I then inked the edges with ink. The paper had the big beautiful flowers, so I just added more, using the paper flowers. I added rhinestones to the centers of each of the paper flowers. To finish the page off, I cut butterflys out of black cardstock in 3 different sizes, bent them in toward the centers to make them look like they are flying, and attached them to the page.
