I made this birthday card for a friend I know from work, so that everyone in the office could sign it and give him something, since he was having to work on his birthday. I have no idea what his actual age is, but I know that he loves fishing, so I made a card that I hope he will love.
I started with this sketch for the Cricut FANatics Sketch Challenge #2. It looked like a fun and simple project. The rules for the challenge, are simple...use the sketch and include at least one cricut cut in your project.
I started by finding the paper, which I found in an old stack. Next I cut out the fish, fishing pole, and happy birthday (which is on the inside of the card) using cricut: Simply Charmed. I typed the title, using my computer, in the font, CK wishful, and printed it on a transparent sheet.
Inside of the card, with lots of room for everyone to leave a message!!!
Paper: Colorbock: Rustic Earth Tones and scraps from my stash
Cricut: Simply Charmed
Font: CK Wishful
