Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge! Challenge #203 Bye Bye Birdie Bye Bye Birdie Create a project with a bird on it. To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. Here is my project for the week: I took these pictures of my son, Dallas, way back in November 2013, and I'm just getting around to scraping them. This was his 6 year photo shoot, and they were taken outside his elementary school. I love the fall look of the pictures, with all the trees and the fall colors, so I wanted a scrapbook page that would reflect that as well. I used a lot of different cartridges to make this layout, but it was worth the extra effort. I used Cindy Loo for the tree, Doodlecharms for the leaves, Home Decor for the bird, Opposites Attract for the "T" in Thankful, and Cursive 101 for the rest of the word. I didn't like the T, so found one that I liked better. I used a Spectrum Noir marker to "edge" the leaves, Tim Hotz Tea Dye Distress Ink to ink the edges of the paper and the tree, colored in the bird using a red and orange Glaze pen, and then popped the bird up using some foam tape.
