Every Christmas and Birthday I get a bunch of cards that I would like to keep, but I didn't really know what to do with them. About 5 years ago I came upon this idea from a scrapbooking magazine (I don't remember which one), and now I made a page in my scrapbook for every event that I have cards that I want to keep. I scrapbook by year, so this method fits in really well, and it's nice to go back and look at the cards from year to year.
The page is a pretty easy one to make. It is a simple pocket page, where you attach a second peice of cardstock to the front of your base page. When you attach it, only do so on three of the four sides so that you have a place to slide your cards into. For this page, I used my Sew Easy. I thought that sewing the pages together might be a little stronger than using glue. To finish it up, I decorated it using some stickers and chipboard letters. Now I can slide this page in my 2012 scrapbook and my christmas cards have a new home.
