Every year, since we moved to Denton, we have gone to the University of North Texas football stadium to watch their fireworks show. Dallas and I, both love the show (with the exception that it is crazy loud), and love that we get to spend time with some of the wonderful new friends we have made. This scrapbook page is actually from 2013, but I am just now getting around to blogging about it. It features my son, Dallas and his best friend, and our neighbor, Hailey. I wanted to create a page that screamed Independence Day, which was harder than I thought. I have been scrapbooking for a long time now, and I wanted a page that was unique and different from the others I had made. I decided on some patriotic papers, then broke out my Independence Day Cricut Cartridge, and started looking through the images until I found one that I thought would be a good focal point. The rest of the page, just fell into place, and I absolute love how it turned out. Now on to come up with another great idea for this year's pictures :) Materials Used: Cricut: Independence Day, Phrases, Home Décor, and Plantin Schoolbook Paper: DCWV Textured Cardstock, Recollections Cardstock, and The Paper Studio All Seasons II paper pack Other: Ribbon from scraps stash, foam tape, black sharpie, and Tea Dye Distress Ink by Tim Holtz

Awesome page! I have the same at home - pages I have almost finished OR finished and never blogged them! Love the title and the pop up stars. Thanks for joining us at Lasting Memories this week and guess what? I featured your LO today :) Congrats and thank you for the inspiration!
